Open position: Sales lead - sustainable plastic materials

Biofiber Tech is one of the fastest growing Green Tech companies based in Stockholm, Sweden. We have developed a unique patented technology to modify wood fibers and make them more “plastic like” – and has now launched a 100% wood fiber new product Fibra Q ( www.fibra-q.com) to be used as an attractive biobased and renewable feedstock for plastic product production, reducing dependence on fossil materials and contributing to a more sustainable environment.

We have now an immediate opening for Sales Lead – sustainable plastic materials

Job description​

Main responsibilities:

  1. Lead Biofiber Tech’s sales activities towards plastic industry, namely plastic compounders and plastic product producers. This includes working out sales and business development strategy towards various material users, proposing action plans as well as leading the execution.

2. Hands on sales towards large material users in the plastic industry, with focus on plastic compounders , injection molders as well as product end users.

3. Responsible for setting up sales budget, as well as negotiating and setting up sales and supply agreement.

Job requirement

  1. Successfull track record in sales and business partnership development within plastic raw material sales with minimum 5 years working experience.

  2. Strong business mindset with proven partnership building & business negotiation skills

  3. Person of positive mindset with excellent communication & problem-solving skills, who is initiative taking, ambitious, driven and with a passion to drive business development and sales of sustainable plastics for a better world.

  4. Fluent English speaking , German language is a strong plus

We believe you are a person with a basic academic degree in business or engineering and has excellent sales track record within the plastic industry sector. Experiences with product management or customer technical support with global resin plastic producers and/or plastic product converters are strong merits. You should have an excellent network within the plastic industry and can provide good business and technological insights to help us effectively penetrating the plastic industry sector. Opening Position: Application Engineer - Sustainable Plastics

Job description​

Main responsibilities:

  1. Lead, execute material testing both internally and externally with Biofiber Tech commercial partners /customers of plastic compounders /injection molders

  2. Support Biofiber Tech’s sales efforts by providing technical product application support with various players in the plastic industry and with end use brand owners

  3. Support Biofiber Tech’s technical sales & marketing efforts towards plastic industry by drafting of material application case studies and customer user guidelines and on -site customer visits and trials

  4. Monitor competitive technology and product landscape, and identify new product development and market application opportunities

Job requirement:

  1. 1.Academic degree in Materials Engineering, Chemistry and /or Polymer materials

  2. Having a solid technical knowledge with minimum 3 years working experiences in the field of thermoplastic processing.

  3. Hands-on technical knowledge and experiences with plastic compounding, injection moulding, extrusion and other plastic product converting processes

  4. Experience dealing with different stakeholders (customers, plastic moulders etc)

  5. A person of positive mindset with excellent communication & problem-solving skills, who is initiative taking, ambitious, driven and with a passion to drive successful new product application

  6. Fluent English speaking, German language is a strong plus
